Museum Facts/Poster - Tim
This is my Auckland Museum poster or facts. We had a fantastic time at the Auckland Museum. We learnt all about the voyaging waka and what it is made out of.
Historical Recount: Voyaging Waka - Tim
The Tahunas Decisions
Have you ever wondered what the responsibilities of a Tahuna? Well my responsibilities were to make sure that we were heading in the right direction”. I had been memorising the stars and the position of the sun for the past 11 months. I am hoping there are winds that will take us to the new lands. I had to join this voyage because I was the best navigator in the village. I knew I would miss my family and friends but I was looking forward to seeing the new things in the new lands. I was frightened that the waka might sink and I was nervous about how long it might take to get to a land of big mysteries. Everybody on the boat is counting on me for the boat to go in the right direction and I cannot let them down.

First I had to go through a series of training for instance I had to navigate my way through the forest with Harakeke wrapped around my head. Next I had to move through another 3 series to get to train with my Tahuna and his Tahuna’s. I was feeling pretty sad because I don’t really want to leave my home.
Next we had to set sail, before it got dark, we also had to make sure that all of our supplies (Whakaputanga) were ready. We said our final goodbye early sunday (Ratapu) morning. We went on the waka to seek exciting adventures on the new land. I had to make sure the waka is going the right way because if I mess it up, I will lead the waka into the wrong direction. I cannot let the captain and the other passengers down.

As I was positioning the sun, I could hear birds and I could see that the ocean colour has changed. I was relieved. I did not let anyone down and I lead the waka in the right direction to a new and better land/village. I am still missing my Whanau back at the old village, but I am really happy that I can live in this beautiful land with the rest of my Whanau.
Throughout the voyage, I felt really delighted that I am living at another land. On the other hand I was really sad that I was leaving, however I was happy that I had some of my Whanau with me.

Museum Fotor -Tim
This is my Fotor for when the senior syndicate went to the Museum on 19 August 2014. I put the most interesting photos in there to make the Fotor pop out more and I also like the border background because it is fern and you can only find fern in New Zealand. If you want to make one go to http://www.fotor.com/mobile/customize/customize_en-us.html and if that doesn't work, download fotor on chrome web store. But you must have permission to go on chrome web store

Space Jump Show ( Storyline's Show) - Tim
Today Room 9 and the rest of the school went to a story line's show and it was about Space Jump. The main characters were Naomi who played Claire and Ty who played Jono. One day Claire and Jono went on a walk, and Claire saw something very strange in the clouds. Claire tried to tell Jono but Jono didn’t believe her. This alien from outer space replaced Claire’s body, then the alien went inside to Claire’s body. The alien went into Claire’s body to seek exciting adventures and search for non-fiction books. Jono, Claire’s friend was seeing that Claire was acting really strange. Jono doesn’t know that an alien has invaded Claire’s body. Alien Claire asked Jono if he could teach her about Imagination and Creativity. Naomi and Tye had to bring up 8 volunteers to help Alien Claire make a sentence with her imagination. Claire finally figured out the sentence it was “My giant eagles were flying above the clouds”. Alien Claire had trouble reading the Three Bears. Jono helped her. Jono needed 4 volunteers and they were Yvette, Sa Hil, Hayley and Ducati. Yvette was Momma Beer, Hayley was Pappa bear, Sa Hil was baby bear and Ducati was goldilocks. They had to act what happened in the book, so Alien Claire could understand what was going on. The whole school had to make some noises for Alien Claire to go back to outer space and ordinary Claire to comeback. Ty had to play the recorder to make a wave sound. Then somehow Alien Claire was moving around the place like she had ants in her pants, then suddenly Alien Claire standed still then ordinary Claire was back. I give this show a 9/10 because I like how it was really funny but I wish they couldn't have used a little bit more props.
