Mary’s Dilemma  

The next day came. It was a one of a kind sunny morning. Mary woke up and went to her mother’s bedroom but her mother was still asleep. So, she went to the bathroom brushed her teeth then went to the kitchen to make some pancakes for her mother. She turned on the kettle and made coffee for her mother as well as pancakes. She was wondering if her mother would be awake by now, so she went and checked again if her mother was awake. She went back to the kitchen and waited for a few minutes if her mother would come out of her room and eat her breakfast. School was going to start so she went and tried to wake up her mum so she could drop her off to school. Mary kept on trying and trying to wake her mother up, but there was no response. She got really worried and started to cry. Then she noticed her mum was getting pale. In England she learnt that if someone is pale they are dead. Then Mary started to cry, scream and yell hoping that her mother would still be alive.
