My Art Reflection By Tim

 Art: Reflecting on my Painting

1. Are you pleased with your painting? why / why not?
Yes I am pleased with my art because it looks like the master painting but different colours used
2. What did you find easy when you created your painting?
What I found easy was painting the square.
3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your painting? -think about painting, ruling up the grid, measuring, using the co-ordinates, etc.
The part I found hard was painting within the lines carefully.

4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?
Miss Paton helped me finish my art work

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: colours, painting, ruling up, etc.
The thing that I would change would be the colour into lime green.

6. What frustrated you when you created your painting?
What frustrated me was painting the white bits with a small brush because I was kind of getting used to the big brush.

My Holiday Story By Tim

SunsetBeach
During my brilliant holidays I went to Sunset Beach in Port Waikato. I went with my parents and my best friends. We went in a big red van. When we almost got there we saw a car  stuck in the sand and some people had to dig a hole to get it out. When we got there my parents started fishing while we were playing in the sand. Me and best friend were sliding down the sand while our other friends were making sand-bombs. I kept moaning and moaning if we could swim, but my mum said just wait for a few minute’s. Our parents were in parent’s mode. Parent mode means that they are so concentrated that they just don’t listen to their children.

Me and my best friends went for a walk around Sunset Beach. We talked and we saw some  grass growing in the middle of the ocean so we took our shoes off and went to have a look. My best friend was scared of eels so me and my other best friend played a little prank on her and said “Oh look there is a eel in the ocean”. My best friend screamed all the way to our parents and we laughed really hard. We followed our best friend to our parents. She got so mad at us that she didn’t even talk to us for 10 wow minutes. When we came back we saw our friend in the water, so I went and asked my Mum if I could go for a swim now with my best friend and she said Okay but just be careful. My Mum didn’t sound like she was on parent mode and the other parents did not seem to be in parent mode anymore either.

I was so excited to be going for a swim, but when we got into the water it was freezing cold. We just didn’t feel like swimming anymore so we just stood there in the water cold as an iceberg. I felt use to it but every time I got out and then went back in it’s just kept getting colder and colder. Me and my best friend laid down on the hot sand. We didn’t feel like going back into the water. After a few minutes we got really hot and ran to the water to cool down. Me and best friend couldn’t handle the water and the sand so we just got out and changed. We went to the car to get our towels and walked to the changing rooms. When we nearly got there we saw our other best friends in the red van with her Mum driving. Her Mum said to get in the car but my best friend who was walking with me said no we just want to walk there instead of going in a car. So my other best friends Mum went away. It took a long time to walk to the changing rooms.

Finally, we got there and our feet were freezing cold. The changing rooms had no showers so we had to deal with it and change before we froze. I was in a rush when I changed because I heard that my best friend was almost finished. Finally me and best friend were changed and we felt feeling comfortable. After we ate rice with egg and chicken. It was a Burmese dish. Just when we finished our parents were already packing up their fishing gear. We were like yes! We are going home. But when we found out that we were going to another beach we felt exhausted. Then we saw heaps of shells laid down on the sand. We felt like collecting the shells. Our parents said that we couldn’t get out of the car, so we sneaked out of the car and raced all the way to the log. After that we collected some shells and we had to choose what shells we liked the most. After we saw  our parents  packing up their fishing gear and heading towards the car. Me and my best friends saw our parents walking towards our car so we went to the car. We hoped in the car and went home.
